Here we are in the studio, rehearsing voice overs. This is a rare quiet moment during a day that had me laughing till I cried.
The cast picture was a challenge. It was so hard to get them to sit still. Though I'll be the first to admit the sock monkeys were much more adept at green screen work than me.
They were such good sports, especially after being tied up for so very long. That's Mr. Shawn in the background examining the swing trajectory.
It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work but in the end, it never got out of the can.
And that's just wrong.
Recently, I revisited the script and was delighted to find that it still made me laugh out loud. So I'm digging up the footage to see what I can do with it.
When I look at the number of projects I have pending, my mind says I have no business diving into this one.
But my heart says differently, so off I go. I'll work it in to my schedule.
It ain't over till the Sock Monkey Sings.
